The whale tail is a simple reminder of the ocean and your whale sightings on Cape Cod! The whale tail bracelet is one of our most loved nautical hook bracelets.
Available in all sterling silver or with a solid 14k gold whale tail. The hook is hidden underneath the whale tail and the bracelet opens up to be put on over your wrist. Both bracelets feature a sterling silver nautical rope on the right side of the whale tail.
MEASURE TO FIND YOUR BRACELET SIZE:
Measure the circumference of the wrist (around the wrist bone) with a flexible tape measure, and ADD half an inch. For example, a wrist measuring 6 inches, needs a 6.5 inch bracelet. We suggest rounding up if in between sizes.
Sterling silver and 14k gold are precious metals that will tarnish. To clean, simply polish with any sterling silver liquid cleaner or polishing cloth.

Sizes + Measurements
Cape Cod bracelets and nautical hook bracelets are designed to be worn like a close-fitting bangle. Either the ball unscrews or the hook comes undone so that you may open up the bracelet to slip over your wrist. It is not meant to be slipped over the hand (your correct size will most likely be too small to fit over your hand.)
To ensure the recommended fit, please measure the circumference of your wrist with a soft tape measure wrapped snugly around the wrist bone. As a general guideline, we recommend adding half an inch to that measurement to find your proper size bracelet.
For example, a wrist measuring 6.5" would need to order at least a 7" Cape Cod bracelet. It is safer to round up when falling between sizes. This is a general guideline, as some people may prefer a looser fit or a more snug fit.
(As a side note, most adults are larger than a size 6". This is the most common exchange we see (with people needing a larger size). When ordering a 6", please note this is a very small size for an adult.)

I still like my whale tail and lobster claw bracelets, but I'm not thrilled. They aren't the same heavy quality as the ball bracelets. I would like to have just left them on like I do with the ball bracelets too, but I dont think they'll hold up as well.
