News & Updates
January 2026: Metal markets (both gold & silver) prices continue to soar
As we begin the new year, we have seen the price of gold continue to increase steadily. In addition, the price of silver has doubled since early November 2025. These price increases are driven by several factors, including economic and geopolitical factors, global supply and demand, and fluctuations in currency markets.
If you have noticed price increases in our store or online, they are due to our increased cost of goods. We change our pricing every time we re-stock items, and mark them according to the market and cost at which they arrive in-store. This means that we currently have inventory that is priced at older, lower metals markets, and newer inventory priced at higher markets. Please reach out to us with any questions and we are always happy to explain further.
If you are looking to make an even size exchange on an item that has increased in price since you purchased, please reach out to us.
As small business owners, we do everything we can to mitigate price increases including lowering margins as much as possible. With the increases in metal prices, comes increased value in your cherished jewelry and we hope our large selection of price points will mean there is always something for everyone in our store.
June 2025: High Gold Market & Price Increases
Due to the extreme increases in the price of gold over the past two years, our prices have recently had to increase. We do not take price increases lightly, as we know how important price points are for everyone.
To add some context to these price changes, we need to look at the changes in the gold market over the past two years. Since summer of 2023, gold has increased in price 72%. In the past one year alone, gold has increased 43.3%. These changes mean that our costs have risen significantly and we have just recently raised our prices accordingly.
As always, we remain committed to offering fair pricing and we take pride in offering jewelry that aligns with values we feel good about. Our pieces are handmade, mostly in the United States, and of very high quality. Metals and stones are sourced ethically and sustainably. We know you have choices and always appreciate you shopping local and small, with our family business.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
