MEASURE TO FIND YOUR BRACELET SIZE:
Measure the circumference of the wrist (around the wrist bone) with a flexible tape measure, and ADD half an inch. For example, a wrist measuring 6 inches, needs a 6.5 inch bracelet. We suggest rounding up if in between sizes.
Sizes + Measurements
Cape Cod bracelets and nautical hook bracelets are designed to be worn like a close-fitting bangle. Either the ball unscrews or the hook comes undone so that you may open up the bracelet to slip over your wrist. It is not meant to be slipped over the hand (your correct size will most likely be too small to fit over your hand.)
To ensure the recommended fit, please measure the circumference of your wrist with a soft tape measure wrapped snugly around the wrist bone. As a general guideline, we recommend adding half an inch to that measurement to find your proper size bracelet.
For example, a wrist measuring 6.5" would need to order at least a 7" Cape Cod bracelet. It is safer to round up when falling between sizes. This is a general guideline, as some people may prefer a looser fit or a more snug fit.
(As a side note, most adults are larger than a size 6". This is the most common exchange we see (with people needing a larger size). When ordering a 6", please note this is a very small size for an adult.)

I have had this bracelet for about a month and a half and even within the first week noticed that in between the twists it looked funky and had some black spots, then today I had to go in salt water (for work) and now it looks so dull and grey on the silver. I have a polishing cloth from another cape cod bracelet I own (different company and brand) and that did nothing to remove the tarnish.
Hello, the bracelets are made from solid sterling silver and 14k gold. These are precious metals that will tarnish over time and can always be polished back to new condition with a tarnish remover. The polishing cloth you have from another store is most likely just a microfiber cloth for fingerprint smudges. The cloth needs to have the tarnish removing cleaner impregnated in it for it to work. We reccommend the cloths sold on our website, or a liquid tarnish remover. If it is a salt water pool, there are other chemicals in it that can interact with the metals, we do not reccommend wearing it in pools of any kind. Ocean and shower water are ok. The bracelet could potentially get salt residue, but it can easily be cleaned off. Please let us know if we can assist you further with the cleaning, we are happy to help.
